Alexandra Myatlova

Alexandra Myatlova was born in 1976 in Birobidzhan, USSR.

 

She has been painting since childhood and graduated Art School in Birobidzhan. In 1995, Alexandra immigrated to Israel where she met her husband, a painter as well, and had her first child.

 

In Israel she completed an academic degree at the Avni School of art.

A very well-known art school in Tel Aviv.

In her artworks Alexandra uses mainly a pallet knife, vivid compositions, which highlight lights and shadows.

 

In most of her paintings it is possible to notice the influence in the composition and painting style of the well-known Dutch impressionist artist Van Gogh.

 

Alexandra’s works can be found in one-man and group exhibitions in Israel, United States, China and a few countries in Europe
